Donielle Bailey Horst's multimodal approach to her Fine Arts practice as Educator, Choreographer, Writer Entrepreneur, and Movement Practitioner is supported by dual MFA degrees in Choreography (Jacksonville University, Phi Kappa Phi) and Creative Writing (Arcadia University with Distinction). As Educator & Choreographer, Donielle is the Resident Guest Choreographer and Professor of Ballet, Jazz, & Modern at Messiah University. She has lectured at Jacksonville University, The Institute of Classical & Modern Dance in Mumbai, India, Alvernia University's Communications Department, and the 2025 Lancaster Learns Conference, presenting her practice-based-research, "Unlocking the Phenomenon of the Unknown Via a Methodology of Play." As Writer, Donielle's short story, "Watch Over Me," was published in Isele Magazine's online September 2023 issue. As Entrepreneur, she is Proprietor of the Horizons Dance Conservatory (18 years) where her heuristic approach to teaching is centered upon her lived experience. As Movement Practitioner, Donielle's Pilates Reformer and Mat Certifications perpetuate her love of Contrology.
